About
Setting The Horse Up For Success
We believe that when it comes to horses, the work is in the preparation. Whether preparing a colt for their first shoeing or preparing a show horse for their first derby, we want the horses in our program to be balanced and mentally present. This philosophy has led us to prioritize physical health, nutrition, and a gentle, problem-solving state of mind in all our horses. We want them to be confident and understand their job so they can go on to lead fulfilling, peaceful, and successful lives.
A modern approach
We have found that our approach transcends disciplines and styles of tack. We use core principles about what motivates a horse and makes them feel confident about their job. Fortunately, these principles are the same when teaching a horse to track a cow or to jump. The exercises may vary, but the core principles remain consistent.
